We have strict procedures for online research with children that ensure that no identifiable personal data is obtained without prior parental approval. Data is only reported in aggregate form--not personally identifiable. We do not, and will not sell personal data for other marketing efforts.
This Privacy Policy is a part of the terms and conditions which are set forth in our Panelist Agreement. Both the Privacy Policy and Panelist Agreement are legally binding on all users. We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time by updating this posting without advance notice to you. Such revisions shall be effective to you immediately upon posting. We collect three kinds of information:
1. The opinions of panelists about issues of interest to us or our clients. Opinions are always reported in aggregate only- 52% of gamers thought this-or-that, or 77% of teens ages 13-15 were aware of something-or-other. This information will be shared with our clients without identifying the identity of any participant.
2. Background information about the panelists. During the process of registering at iGameLab.com, panelists are asked a number of questions about themselves and their gaming activities, attitudes and behavior. This information is used as background information so that we can target surveys/research studies we conduct and to better interpret research findings. Background information is reported in aggregate only- for instance, we might report that, 28% of active gamers like the new game.
3. When a panelist registers at iGameLab.com we collect limited personally identifiable information in order to communicate by mail, email or telephone with that panelist, send checks, gift certificates and other rewards, and in order to personalize communication sent to the panelist. We will never share the personally identifiable information provided to us without first obtaining explicit permission from the panelist or for children under the age of 13 their parent or guardian to do so, and giving them an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses except iGameLab.com /Touchstone Research, Inc. may share information with a fulfillment (mailing) house in order to send gifts or prizes to participants, or to vendors or subcontractors engaged in data management/processing for iGameLab.com /Touchstone Research, Inc., or as part of a research study. Any fulfillment house or other vendor managing a iGameLab.com /Touchstone Research, Inc. program will agree to be bound by the privacy rules and restrictions contained in this notice.

We also collect information about your gaming activities and other profile data so know what studies to invite you to. Parental/Guardian Consent Required for a Child under age 13 to Participate
Touchstone Research, Inc./iGameLab.com requires the consent of parents or legal guardians before any child under age 13 may become a Panel member. A parent or legal guardian must first give permission. Before allowing participation Touchstone Research, Inc./iGameLab.com obtains consent from the child's parent or legal guardian. Who does iGameLab.com share personally identifiable information with?
We will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties, aside from entities that perform services for us, such as fulfilling orders or processing payment, or as part of our research studies, that either are bound to comply with our privacy policy or have privacy policies that protect your information. iGameLab.com may use third parties to accept and process incentive payment/gift order fulfillment, or as part of research studies and such third parties may get access to your personal information for the purposes of providing services or products to you or conducting the research studies.

Discussion Boards/Chat Rooms and Other Public Areas
Touchstone Research, Inc./iGameLab.com may offer chat, discussion/ bulletin board, multi-player games, or other public functions and any posting by you is considered public information available to other users. Any posting is governed by Touchstone Research, Inc./iGameLab.com Panelist Agreement. You should take care to not use personal information in your screen name or other information that might be publicly available to other users.
Archived Information
Touchstone Research, Inc./iGameLab.com maintains archives of its web logs, database, and other systems and information. Please note that it is possible some of this information may remain archived after Touchstone Research, Inc./iGameLab.com deletes the information from its active database (see the Web Logs paragraph above). Touchstone Research, Inc./iGameLab.com maintains archives for disaster recovery, legal and other non-marketing purposes.
Special Contests or Promotions
iGameLab.com may occasionally present a special contest or promotion that is sponsored by another company. To qualify for entry in that contest or promotion, we may ask you to provide personal information. If we plan to share that information with the sponsor(s) or with others, we will provide a statement to that effect in the contest or promotion terms.
IP Address
All communication on the internet takes place between pairs of IP Addresses. Our Web servers will log the IP address that any connection is made from.
